Driving Directions
From the North: Take Hwy 17 South (I-880), to Hwy 1 North to Santa Cruz. Continue on Hwy 1 North which will turn into Mission Street. Take Mission Street to Bay Street. Turn North on Bay up to High Street. Turn left on High Street which changes in name to Empire Grade (do not go into UCSC's Main Entrance). Proceed up Empire Grade and turn right on Heller (through UCSC's "West Entrance"). Go four stop signs and turn right on Meyer.
From the South: Take Hwy 1 North to Santa Cruz. Continue on Hwy 1 North which will turn into Mission Street. Take Mission Street to Bay Street. Turn North on Bay up to High Street. Parking
Parking is available in one of three lots located near our venues on the UCSC campus. Upon arrival at UCSC, University staff will direct you to the nearest available parking lot. If needed, a UCSC staff member can also direct patrons to reserved handicapped-accessible parking spaces.
All parking is $4.00 per car – cash only, please.
*Note: If you are directed to park in the “Core West” parking structure, a free shuttle will transport you to and from the festival grounds.
Buses & Large Groups
If you are coming to Shakespeare Santa Cruz with a group (i.e., in an oversized van or a bus which will not fit into a regular parking space), please call or email Deborah Bryant days in advance so that she can give you information and instructions on the handling and parking of buses.
