Since Victorian times, Cinderella has remained especially popular in England in theatrical versions performed around Christmastime incorporating songs, dances, and comedy. In this tradition I am thrilled to be directing the world premier of our own musical version of Cinderella created especially for Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

All the stock characters are here: the Vile Stepsisters, the Godmother and of course, Cinderella and Prince Charming. There are a few surprises too! This is a theatrical show for the family that celebrates the message of the fairy tale and of the winter holiday season: there is nothing more important than a true heart.
